Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gymnastics Instructor to join our team at the Young Men's Christian Association of Wichita Kansas. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality gymnastics instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in providing gymnastics instruction to all individuals enrolled in the appropriate classes
  • Ensure the general safety of all participants
  • Lead and coach teams and individuals
  • Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and parents
  • Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience teaching the sport
  • Ability to lead and coach teams and individuals
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to make independent and sound decisions
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
  • Ability to present a neat and professional appearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children and adults
  • Experience with gymnastics instruction and coaching
  • First Aid certification
  • Emergency procedures and action plans training
