Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and repair assembly and packaging machinery.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks on all production machinery.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and stabilize equipment as necessary.
  • Support Production and Maintenance tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with Production staff to address quality and safety issues.
  • Document maintenance activities as instructed by the Maintenance Manager to track equipment performance, including work orders and time logs.
  • Identify and communicate equipment issues to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Participate in overtime work as needed.
  • Provide on-call support as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Maintenance Technology or equivalent education, experience, and training.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance terminology and best practices; knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA standards, and production requirements.

Work Environment: The role is performed in production areas where the individual may encounter strong odors, airborne dust particles from ingredients, and will be in proximity to or operating machinery.
