Hospital Assistant

As a Same Day Surgery Nursing Assistant at UCI Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families. Under the supervision of the RN and Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for direct patient care and assist with tasks that ensure total patient care. You will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and provide services that meet their unique needs.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 6 months of recent acute care experience and hold a current BLS certification. You must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System. Preferred qualifications include certification of completion of a Nursing Assistant course, proficiency in EKGs, and knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
