Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Field Case Manager to join our team at Genex Services. As a Field Case Manager, you will play a critical role in helping injured individuals recover from challenging life events and return to work safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate expertise in case management standards of practice and apply knowledge of injury types, medications, comorbidities, treatment options, and job duties to advise on treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of injured individuals to determine overall recovery and identify whether injuries or conditions are occupational or non-occupational.
  • Collaborate with treating physicians and healthcare providers to create and implement tailored treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and return to work.
  • Work closely with employers and healthcare providers to modify job duties and facilitate early return to work.
  • Evaluate and modify case goals based on injured individuals' progress and treatment effectiveness.
  • Manage workload effectively, prioritizing cases and deciding how best to manage cases to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required, with a strong background in clinical practice and workers' compensation-related experience preferred.
  • URAC-recognized certification in case management (CCM, CDMS, CRC, CRRN, or COHN) is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for regular travel to in-person appointments with injured workers.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including physicians, employers, and injured individuals.
