We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead our weekend day shift production team in our Houston, TX facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Provide guidance and direction to production operators and material handlers to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.
  • Quality Management: Ensure adherence to strict quality Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure team members follow safety guidelines and procedures, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of achievement by developing stretch goals and celebrating team wins.
  • Performance Management: Manage employee performance, conduct bi-annual performance reviews, and develop individual team members' goals and objectives.
  • Operational Planning: Align weekly schedule demands with equipment capacity and implement build plans as required.
  • Troubleshooting: Assess part defects, develop action plans, and align resources for troubleshooting.
  • Staffing and Training: Maintain staffing and training requirements for associates in support of shift volumes.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Coordinate Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule requirements with support teams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
  • Language: Fluency in English (reading, writing, understanding, and communication).
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience and 1 year of demonstrated leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Warehouse, Quality, Engineering, and/or Materials experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Process Improvement experience.
  • Technical writing skills (standard operating procedures, deviation/non-conformance reports, etc.).
  • Data analysis and decision-making skills to drive business results.
