About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our Community Foundation for Carver County team. As the key community representative, you will be responsible for advancing philanthropy and creating impact in Carver County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the development, grantmaking, and community activities of the Community Foundation.
  • Collaborate with the CommunityGiving team to advance philanthropy in the Carver County community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with the community, build relationships, and secure funding.
  • Manage and grow the Community Foundation's resources, including grants, donations, and fundraising events.
  • Represent the Community Foundation at public engagements and meetings in the Carver County community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, non-profit management, philanthropy).
  • 5+ years of experience in development, public relations, community involvement, and/or philanthropic ventures.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in team management and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule and willingness to travel.
What We Offer
  • Part-time position with a competitive salary ($55,000 - $60,000 per year).
