Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus benefits

Job Description:
In this challenging role, you will operate and program Coordinated Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect parts according to engineering specifications. Your expertise in metrology and quality control will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our products.

Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and program CMM equipment to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to perform precise measurements.
- Stay updated on advancements in CMM technology and measurement techniques.
- Conduct detailed inspections of parts and components, ensuring they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Report and document inspection results, identifying and documenting any deviations or defects.
- Collaborate with the quality, engineering, and production teams to address any issues and improve processes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical or vocational training in metrology or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operating and programming CMMs.
- Experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with CMM software such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar.
- Certification in CMM operation/programming or a related quality control certification a plus.
- Familiarity with CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
