Job Summary

The Reverse Engineering Drafter will play a crucial role in the Technical Support team at KSB SE and Co KGaA. This position requires a highly skilled individual with expertise in reverse engineering, drafting, and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reverse engineer pump parts, including impellers, pump cases, and bearing houses, to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop detailed working drawings and design concepts.
  • Measure parts using electronic metrology equipment and other tools to gather critical data.
  • Communicate effectively with customer service personnel to ensure updates on job progress and needs.
  • Develop assembly models and drawings, checking fitment and ensuring proper running clearances.
  • Operate CMM equipment to collect data for part development.
  • Perform first article casting inspections and part repair work scope development.
  • Assign new drawing numbers for parts not in the database and work orders.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Drafting or equivalent technical degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience working as a member of a successful team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Inventor Cam and Master Cam experience.
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Reverse engineering pump parts experience.
