Structural Drafter Job Description

Florida Engineering, LLC is seeking a skilled Structural Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our engineering division, you will work closely with our engineers to create accurate and detailed drawings and plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Create structural and MEP drawings and details based on engineers' markups and directions
  • Operate drafting software to produce clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications
  • Maintain company drafting standards
  • Work with drafting software to create and modify Structural and MEP drawings

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional drafting/design experience
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other 3D modeling software
  • Ability to read and understand engineering plans and drawings
  • Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction techniques and documents
  • General knowledge of building codes, standards, and specifications
  • Great organizational and communication skills to work cross-functionally with our engineers
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
