Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team at Rose International. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health, safety, and environmental performance of our personnel, contractors, and visitors by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an upgraded HSE management system to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize HSE risk.
  • Lead incident investigations, drive corrective and preventive actions, and maintain accident prevention programs.
  • Develop and deliver various employee and contractor HSE-related trainings.
  • Perform and document Job Hazard Analysis, equipment safety reviews, and other similar processes to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and project-specific groups to drive changes and improve HSE performance.
  • Collect, analyze, and submit data necessary to support BaySIS extra-financial reporting systems and communicate HSE-related performance within the site and Product Supply organizations.
  • Take part in various inspection activities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Safety Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years' experience in a Safety Specialist or Manager role.
  • Familiarity with OSHA's Hazard Communication standards and the GHS (Global Harmonization Standard) is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Job Hazard Analysis, Life Safety Core Compliance items, and Behavior Based Safety is a plus.
  • CSP or other designation preferred but not required.

Rose International offers a competitive compensation package, including a minimum hourly rate of $37.00 and a maximum hourly rate of $42.00. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
