Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician License in Ohio.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PTCB National Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Main Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in accurately preparing and dispensing medications.
- Engage with patients, providing outstanding service and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Oversee inventory management and help maintain an organized pharmacy workflow.
- Receive and verify written prescriptions or refill requests for correctness.
- Ensure proper storage and security of medications.
- Establish and maintain patient profiles.
- Answer phone calls to address patient requests or questions.
- Assist patients in the pharmacy by answering basic questions and directing them to the pharmacist for medication information.
- Receive and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies.
- Verify invoices and quantities of received items.
- Monitor pharmaceutical inventory to ensure medications are current and dispose of expired items.
- Collaborate with purchasing agents to maintain adequate stock levels.
