This role involves communication with kitchen staff, seating guests, and maintaining cleanliness and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare dining areas by setting tables appropriately.
  2. Assist guests in selecting food and drinks by presenting the menu and discussing chef's specials.
  3. Stay informed about menu options, specials, and any changes to ensure accurate service.
  4. Record and submit orders to the kitchen and bar, noting any special dietary requirements.
  5. Communicate with kitchen staff regarding the timing of meal service.
  6. Deliver food and beverage orders to guests in a timely manner.
  7. Handle payment transactions efficiently.
  8. Contribute to team success by supporting colleagues as needed.
  9. Adhere to health and safety regulations to protect both guests and the establishment.
  10. Provide a friendly phone greeting and assist with guest orders over the phone.
  11. Perform basic cleaning duties as required or directed.
  12. Fill in for absent team members when necessary.
  13. Assist with special events and catering as required.
  14. Address customer service concerns promptly and escalate to management when necessary.
