Collection Specialist

As a Collection Specialist at Truist Inc, you will be responsible for following standardized collection and/or recovery procedures for all assigned accounts. Your primary goal will be to make leadership aware of problem accounts that may result in repossession, foreclosure, or charge-off within established time frames.
Key Responsibilities
Meet performance expectations for collection efforts for assigned accounts based on individual goals and objectives.
Manage client communications and provide accurate account detail and information with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Execute calls to assigned accounts in order of the collection system queue priority as established by calling strategy.
Document all collection efforts for each assigned account in the collection system using appropriate codes and notes in accordance with established procedures.
Qualifications
High school graduate
Basic computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
