About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified Instructor of Music to join our team at Texas Tech University.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach applied instrument, vocal, or conducting studies at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Develop and teach graduate or undergraduate academic courses in music, music history, music theory, or music education.
  • Teach undergraduate courses in commercial music, including songwriting, recording, music business, or music industry.

Requirements:

  • Master of Music, Doctor of Music, or Ph.D. degree in Music.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an instructor at the university level.
  • Effective teaching ability and industry experience.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position with the possibility of face-to-face, hybrid, or online teaching at the Lubbock campus.
