Job Summary

The Clinical Dietitian is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to patients of all ages. This role involves assessing the nutritional status of patients, developing personalized nutrition plans, and educating patients and their families on healthy eating habits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop effective care plans.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations and support.
  3. Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and their families.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and guidelines to ensure best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.
  • State licensure as a dietitian.
  • One year of experience in a hospital or community setting preferred.
