The Edwin L. Cox School of Business at SMU is actively seeking a non-tenure track Clinical Professor specializing in organizational behavior and human resources. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to student development and mentorship, ensuring that learners are well-prepared for practical, real-world projects. A dynamic and innovative teaching approach is essential, as is the ability to engage students in diverse and complex workplace scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in organizational behavior and leadership.
- Mentor students in both academic and extracurricular settings.
- Facilitate experiential learning opportunities that emphasize diversity and managerial problem-solving.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in management or a closely related discipline by the time of employment. Proven expertise in teaching organizational behavior and leadership courses is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with a demonstrated ability to teach MBA and undergraduate courses in organizational behavior and leadership, as well as in areas such as change management, management consulting, design thinking, people analytics, and strategic human resources management, will be favored. A commitment to enhancing both the undergraduate and graduate curriculum, along with extracurricular initiatives, is highly desirable.
