Join the Loews Hotels team as a Server at our upscale resort, Loews Ventana Canyon. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will provide exceptional guest service and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Maintain current knowledge of all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
* Set up assigned station with all required supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
* Greet guests in a polite and professional manner, according to Loews standards
* Suggestively sell menu items to enhance the dining experience
* Record all aspects of guest orders accurately and enter orders into the POS terminal
* Coordinate the placement of orders to ensure timely preparation and delivery
* Monitor preparation of individual courses to ensure proper flow
* Inspect presentation of all food items to ensure quality
* Serve all food and beverage items professionally, according to Loews standards
* Monitor guests at all times, anticipate needs, and respond to requests
* Prepare and present accurate, complete guest checks
* Collect monies due and apply charges to guest accounts using the POS terminal
* Complete end-of-shift revenue reports and cash deposits
* Perform all side work duties as assigned by manager/supervisor

**General Responsibilities:**

* Promote teamwork skills at all times
* Notify appropriate individuals promptly and fully of problems or unusual matters
* Be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and fellow team members
* Execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
* Comply with required safety regulations and procedures
* Attend hotel meetings and training sessions
* Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
* Comply with hotel standards, policies, and rules
* Recycle whenever possible
* Remain current with hotel information and changes
* Comply with hotel uniform and grooming standards

**Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* One+ years of experience as a food server in a high-volume, upscale hotel or restaurant environment
* Thorough knowledge of food terminology, food service techniques, and sanitation standards
* Exceptional guest service skills
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift trays weighing up to 35 pounds repetitively during the entire shift
* Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
