Position: Adjunct Instructor - Education (Pool)
Overview: The role involves providing high-quality educational instruction utilizing modern teaching technologies.
- Deliver courses in person as assigned, including evening, off-campus, and online formats as necessary.
- Maintain and submit grades throughout the term for student assessment and ensure final grades are submitted by the deadlines set by the Registrar.
- Complete mandatory college training and documentation, including attendance records, early alerts, progress updates, grade submissions, and administer surveys within specified timeframes.
- Regularly monitor institutional email and departmental communications, responding to inquiries within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
- Prepare and submit course syllabus or updates to the departmental syllabus at least two weeks before the start of the course or within seven days of contract execution.
Essential Qualifications: A Master's degree in Education or a related discipline with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate-level credit hours in Education from an accredited institution.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience teaching at the collegiate level. Candidates should be available for in-person instruction during daytime hours and at various locations.
Skills and Competencies: Familiarity with various instructional delivery methods. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation: $600 per credit hour
