Job Summary:

As a Medical Laboratory Technician at Texas Health Resources, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by analyzing and interpreting laboratory results. Your expertise will help ensure accurate and timely diagnoses, enabling healthcare providers to make informed decisions about patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and solve problems related to specimen collection and processing, maintaining specimen integrity throughout the testing process.
  • Facilitate workflow process, checking outstanding tests list in a timely manner and troubleshooting issues.
  • Utilize computer downtime procedures as needed and collaborate with hospital and laboratory coworkers to provide timely patient care.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field.
  • Internship in an approved Medical Technology training program required.
  • Two years' experience in a Medical Laboratory preferred.
  • Licensed MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) required.
