Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst

This is a remote or hybrid position across the United States or in Salt Lake City, UT, for a Senior Tax Analyst to join the Tax team at Myriad Genetics.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the timely and accurate completion of accounting steps for income taxes.
  • Support the accurate completion of income tax work papers and returns.
  • Contribute to the identification, analysis, and implementation of tax planning.
  • Research and document tax technical issues.
  • Help with data requests from 3rd party vendors responsible for critical calculations related to income-tax compliance and accounting.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret existing tax laws and proposed income tax legislation.
  • Complete other various tax filings as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Master's preferred.
  • 3+ years of related experience in corporate or public accounting required.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suites.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with income tax provisions.
Physical Requirements:

Lifting Requirements - light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
