We are seeking skilled machinists to join our dynamic team focusing on the aerospace industry.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating various types of machinery.

This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications.

As a machinist, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that all parts are crafted with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, lathes, and other machining tools to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
  • Implement GD&T practices to maintain quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product designs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • MasterCam programming experience.
  • Proven experience as a 5-axis setup machinist.
  • Prototype machining exposure (50 part runs or less).
  • Aerospace background-experience working with exotic metals.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their application in quality control.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T principles.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Salary: $30-$45+/hr DOE
