Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct eyeglass fittings, ordering, and adjustments to ensure accurate and comfortable vision correction.
  • Coordinate care from receiving prescriptions to working with vendors and labs to dispense eyewear.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and concerns from patients and suppliers.
  • Assist patients with eyewear returns and minor adjustments, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Perform eyewear measurements and complete prescription orders with precision and accuracy.
  • Teach patients about contact lens insertion, removal, and care, promoting healthy vision habits.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies and frames to maintain a current and quality selection of eyewear.
  • Collaborate with lab and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of eyewear.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience meeting required functional competencies.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of optician experience and knowledge of complete eye exam tests and procedures.
  • Certified Optician - American Board of Opticianry required upon hire.
