We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Northern Rivers Family of Services. As a Foster Care Clinician, you will provide critical support to children in foster care and their families, promoting a positive and successful experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, treatment planning, and general counseling for children in foster care.
- Offer individual, group, and family therapy to children and families as needed.
- Conduct specialized risk assessments and consult with other staff involved in the care of the child and families.
- Attend all case-related meetings, including counseling on special education, termination of parental rights, and emergency meetings.
- Participate in formal and informal supervision and meet regularly with birth families to discuss progress and challenges.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Master's degree in counseling with related experience. A limited permit is necessary, and professional licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT) is preferred.
