Key Responsibilities:
Brand Representation:
Acts as a representative of the brand, embodying the company values; collaborates with leadership to develop an appealing visual experience that resonates with our customers.

Engages the entire team in visual and sales initiatives that elevate the customer journey; inspires team members to forge meaningful connections through personalized service and product insights.

Adopts a proactive approach to customer engagement through in-store marketing, merchandising, and display strategies to create an inviting store ambiance.

Leadership and Team Development:
Educates the team on store operations, merchandise arrangement, and standards; provides constructive feedback to foster a culture of accountability and action.

Serves as the manager-on-duty, promoting engagement across all areas through effective communication and teamwork; demonstrates strong decision-making and multitasking skills.

Assists the Store Manager in attracting, hiring, and retaining exceptional talent to build a strong team; ensures a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires to strengthen brand and customer connections.

Visual and Operational Management:
Actively participates in daily operational tasks, including payroll management and adapting visual strategies to meet business needs.

Oversees the visual direction from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with company standards, budgets, and timelines; utilizes analytical tools to identify opportunities for product placement and inventory management.

Facilitates an efficient shipment and omni-channel process to prioritize product availability for customers; formulates strategic plans for execution and inventory recovery.

Complies with safety standards, maintains inventory accuracy, minimizes product loss, and adheres to company policies to support store profitability.

Communication and Relationship Building:
Promotes an inclusive and people-centered approach; engages team members at all levels to foster open communication and ensure the team feels valued and supported.

Maintains current interoffice communication, ensuring vital company information is disseminated throughout the team; encourages the sharing of product knowledge, trends, visual priorities, and brand messaging through regular team meetings.

Provides feedback on product and visual aspects to the Store Manager and District Manager; shares visual updates through store environment documentation.

Encourages a culture of effective communication and teamwork to balance operational and visual priorities, facilitating problem-solving.

Qualifications:
A passion for the Free People brand.

1+ years of experience in visual merchandising and team leadership.

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A desire to learn and grow within the organization.
