Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Wetzel County Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and analyze patient samples in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set up, run, and maintain laboratory instruments according to established protocols.
  • Perform quality control checks and take corrective action as needed.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to communicate test results and provide technical support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient specimens and test results.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory or Laboratory Sciences (MLT).
  • Current licensure as a Medical Technician in WV, OH, PA, or MD.
  • Preferred: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by ASCP or AMT.
