Bakery Team Member Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Team Member to join our Hy-Vee Supermarket team. As a key member of our bakery department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production deadlines and achieve sales goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
