The CT Technologist is a vital member of the diagnostic imaging team at St. David's Medical Center. This role requires a strong understanding of human anatomy, disease processes, and patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently produce high-quality CT scans of patients ranging from neonatal to geriatric age groups.
  • Follow established scanning and viewing protocols to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Operate CT scanners and related equipment efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete required documentation on forms, logs, and workstations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of disease processes and produce studies that optimally identify related anatomy.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Completion of courses in computed tomography and cross-sectional anatomy.
  • One year of experience as a Radiology Tech in an acute care setting.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Advanced Registry in Computed Tomography (CT) required upon hire.
