Job Summary:

The Transport Driver will be responsible for loading, securing, driving, and unloading heavy equipment tractor-trailer rigs to deliver and pick up rental equipment and components at customer locations, company facilities, and suppliers.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a valid California Class A driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Operate company vehicles in compliance with DMV rules and regulations.
  • Participate in the U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Perform daily safety and operational vehicle inspections.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and mechanical repairs of assigned trucks as needed.
  • Load and unload equipment using material handling equipment and operate various equipment to move it on and off the trailer.
  • Use road maps for efficient transportation and maintain accurate logbook records.
  • Work a flexible schedule to meet company and customer needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience or training.
  • Valid California Class A driver's license and DMV Medical Certificate.
  • Forklift operator certification.
Work Environment:

The Transport Driver will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and potentially hazardous materials.
