Position Overview

The Sales Associate serves as the primary representative of the company, responsible for addressing customer inquiries regarding our products and services. This role requires continuous learning about our offerings, policies, and services to provide accurate information to customers.

Handling customer complaints is a vital aspect of this position. The ability to transform a dissatisfied customer into a satisfied one, while adhering to company policies, necessitates a blend of empathy and professionalism.

Another essential duty involves ensuring the sales floor is well-presented, including the arrangement of products, signage, and displays.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour.

Includes paid training and a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming customers, addressing inquiries, enhancing engagement with products, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Managing cash registers, processing transactions, and reconciling cash drawers.
  • Meeting established sales targets.
  • Guiding customers to locate merchandise within the store.
  • Boosting in-store sales.
  • Demonstrating superior product knowledge.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized sales floor.
  • Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
  • Encouraging cross-selling to increase transaction values.
Qualifications:

Sales Associate Requirements:
  • High school diploma or Associate's degree.
  • Experience in retail sales.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and prioritize customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
