Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Shift Team Lead to join our team at Corning Incorporated. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of hourly associates and operations coordinators, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for performing work in a safe manner and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) and/or warehouse to meet or exceed production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Develop, train, and coach employees to be responsible and accountable for their individual and team performance.
  • Prioritize production schedules based on product induction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2-3 years previous supervisory experience.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the plant organization.
