Meter Technician

PPL Electric Utilities is seeking a skilled Meter Technician to join our team. As a Meter Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical meters in our service territory.
Key Responsibilities- Unpack and inspect electrical meters for proper mechanical and electrical operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical meters, including calibration and testing.
- Verify meter readings and data entered by field forces and/or computer.
- Perform phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground insulation tests on electrical meters.
- Repair and maintain stock of repair parts for electrical meters.
- Perform associated record and clerical functions, including data entry and record-keeping.
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma and relevant experience in electrical meter maintenance and repair. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
