TCI Technology Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to lead requirements gathering sessions and collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, vendors, and business users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and document comprehensive requirements and use cases.
  • Troubleshoot application and interface issues.
  • Address reporting issues through effective troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the user community and vendors to ensure timely implementation.
  • Support application/project go-live.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of IT methodologies and processes.
  • Gather detailed requirements to define projects.
  • Develop high-level models and user prototypes to validate business processes and solutions.
  • Facilitate reviews, approvals, and sign-off sessions for business and functional requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate end-user testing activities.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Initiate and manage workflows for reviewing and approving deliverable documents and communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and deliverables.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare programs, including Medicaid.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio).
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst position.
  • Experience defining business problems, gathering and documenting requirements, determining business solutions, and verifying solutions meet requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodology.
  • Ability to handle extreme workloads with general direction.
  • Relationship management and facilitation skills.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Strong decision-making ability.
  • Must be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of healthcare enterprise systems, including claims, finance, members, and providers, with the ability to understand and communicate from a business and technical perspective.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst position for a large-scale IT system.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification (CBAP).
