Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, construction tools, and specialty equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues, using knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our equipment fleet and capabilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
- 1-2 years of experience as a mechanic, with a focus on diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL license may be required in some locations).
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting fundamentals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) may be required based on location needs.
- Experience with mechanic's tools of trade and ability to provide own tools.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more. You may be required to work indoors and outdoors, depending on the job requirements.
