Physician Clinic Medical Director Onsite

Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Physician Clinic Medical Director Onsite to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our onsite clinic team.
Job Summary:The Physician Clinic Medical Director Onsite will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, establishing and monitoring appropriate levels of care, and completing medical record documentation. You will also work closely with the Center Medical Director to ensure operations are consistent with medical and professional standards of care.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with Concentra's medical model
- Establish and monitor appropriate levels of care for patients
- Complete medical record documentation prior to end of shift
- Work with Center Medical Director to ensure operations are consistent with medical and professional standards of care
- Meet with Center Medical Director to discuss quality of patient care, review policies, procedures, outcomes reports, and records
- Recommend potential growth opportunities for new or existing services within the Center
- Participate in quality management processes
- Assure personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies
- Participate in development and presentation of in-service and continuing education programs for medical support staff and other personnel
- Call patients to ensure their well-being as needed following center visits
- Work with Center Operations Director to ensure daily operational readiness
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to ancillary medical personnel and center colleagues
- Coordinate with and refer patients to employer-sponsored wellness/benefit programs
- Interface with client contact and Concentra leadership to report on aggregate data pulled from the EMR
- Board Certification/Eligibility highly preferred in a related ABMS or AOA recognized specialty
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine
- FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date - we provide this CME for those not already certified
- Advanced training in treadmill stress testing exams required - we provide this course for those not already trained
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
