Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to fill the position of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Develop and deliver high-quality course materials, lectures, and laboratory sessions to undergraduate students in chemistry-related subjects.
  • Student Advising and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and professional development, helping them to achieve their goals and succeed in their chosen careers.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Design and implement effective evaluation methods to assess student learning outcomes and progress, ensuring that students meet the required standards and expectations.
  • Department and Student Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, progress, and achievements, in accordance with university policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and university to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, share best practices, and contribute to the development of academic programs and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field;
