Construction Execution Team:

Our Construction team operates within the BLOX framework, tackling complex challenges with a collaborative spirit. We focus on optimizing construction operations and enhancing the overall value chain through teamwork across various functions, including Program Management, R&D, Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

Project Delivery Services:

At BLOX, we employ an integrated approach that combines in-house General Contracting with self-performing tasks such as Module Set, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Framing, and Finish Carpentry. We handle traditional construction responsibilities, including site preparation, civil work, and foundations, while delivering modular buildings through an industrialized methodology.

Position Summary:

BLOX is in search of a skilled and experienced carpenter to contribute to various modular commercial construction projects. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as collaboration is key to achieving construction objectives. Candidates should be self-motivated and capable of working independently when necessary.

Work Schedule:

Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with 10-hour shifts. Travel to job sites is an essential part of the role.

  • Taping and Mudding Drywall
  • Finishing Drywall
  • Structo-crete Subflooring Installation
  • Casework Installation
  • Door Frame Installation
  • Doors and Hardware Installation
  • Insulation for Floors and Walls
  • Ceiling Grid Installation
  • Wall Protection and Crash-Rail Installation
  • Rough Carpentry Tasks

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter, Craftsman, or Handyman
  • Possession of a standard set of tools for all required trades
  • Valid identification and/or driver's license
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Comfortable working with ladders and scaffolding
  • Ability to read and follow safety labels and guidelines
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
