Position Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures efficiently and accurately. This role involves operating CT and X-ray equipment, preparing the imaging environment, and ensuring patient safety through proper radiation protocols. The technologist will maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients, colleagues, and visitors, while contributing to departmental and hospital objectives. Services are provided to patients across all age groups.
Qualifications:
A. Education/Skills:
Technical degree or vocational training in Radiologic Technology.
B. Experience:
Preferred minimum of one year of experience in CT imaging.
C. Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:
ARRT(R) or ARRT(N)(CT) certification, along with a valid state license as a Radiologic Technician. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider is required within the first month of employment.
- Associate Degree preferred.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or equivalent certification must be obtained within five years of employment.
