Job Opportunity

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-acuity care to our patients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for our patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with our team
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document care provided in our system of record in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members and caregivers
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from Case Manager
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on patient concerns and changes in condition
Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
