Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-acuity care to medically fragile patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities- Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for patients with complex medical needs
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with healthcare teams
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide health education and training to patients and their families
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from Case Manager
- Follow up with patients, families, and healthcare teams on patient concerns and changes in condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
