**Job Summary:**
The Body Shop Technician is responsible for performing repair work with efficiency and accuracy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Diagnose the cause of malfunction and perform the necessary repair.
* Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain the required parts.
* Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
* Advise the Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed.
* Document all work performed as soon as the job is completed.
* Use basic mathematical skills to solve simple equations for mixing chemicals.
* Attend factory-sponsored training classes and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins.
* Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations, including the disposal of hazardous wastes.
* Ensure customer cars are kept clean.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
**Requirements:**
* Must have a strong understanding of automotive repair principles and practices.
* Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
