Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations, including growth and development assessments, to diagnose and treat various pediatric conditions.
  • Provide preventive care, vaccinations, and immunizations to promote overall health and prevent illnesses.
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections in pediatric patients.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor patients' progress over time, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Educate parents and caretakers on child health, nutrition, safety, and other relevant topics.
  • Conduct screenings for developmental delays, behavioral issues, and mental health concerns, and provide appropriate referrals and interventions.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
  • Stay informed about the latest medical advancements, evidence-based practices, and pediatric research.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, parents, and healthcare team members.
  • Empathy and patience when working with children and their families.
  • Attention to detail and ability to make accurate diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine.
