We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at Wheeling Hospital. As a key member of our Quality Management department, you will play a critical role in driving quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Monitor and analyze quality indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement performance improvement projects
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality data to stakeholders
- Participate in payor-based quality improvement initiatives and present findings to payors
- Provide education and disease management to patients and families
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) with 3-5 years of clinical experience
- Current West Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Advanced degree (MSN, MPH, MPA) preferred
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced office and hospital setting, with frequent walking, standing, and lifting required.
