Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at Wheeling Hospital. As a key member of our Quality Management department, you will play a critical role in driving quality improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Monitor and analyze quality indicators to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement performance improvement projects
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of quality data to stakeholders
  • Participate in payor-based quality improvement initiatives and present findings to payors
  • Provide education and disease management to patients and families
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) with 3-5 years of clinical experience
  • Current West Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Advanced degree (MSN, MPH, MPA) preferred
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced office and hospital setting, with frequent walking, standing, and lifting required.
