Bejac Corporation is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Visalia, CA. As a key member of our shop service team, you will be responsible for servicing customer equipment in our shop or at customer's jobsites.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining and servicing heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment dealership and be able to lift 75# unassisted. Welding experience and hydraulic and electrical knowledge are also essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Service customer equipment in shop or at customer's jobsites
  • Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturer's published flat rate repair times
  • Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
  • Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
  • Equipment dealership background ideal
  • Must be able to lift 75# unassisted
  • Welding experience
  • Hydraulic & electrical experience
  • Mid-level diagnostic ability
  • Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions
  • Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
  • Engine certifications a plus
  • Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
  • Possess a clean and valid Class B driver's license, recent K4 printout required
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
