POSITION OVERVIEW
If you are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of others and have a passion for team leadership, this position is ideal for you. In the role of LPN Charge Leader, you will manage the provision of tailored care and supervise nursing aides to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our residents. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the daily operations of nursing aides and support personnel
- Administering or supervising direct nursing care, including dressing changes and monitoring resident health
- Updating care plans and liaising with healthcare professionals regarding resident status
- Carrying out administrative tasks, such as documentation and inventory oversight
- Managing the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents as necessary
- Executing emergency protocols, including CPR, and communicating with families during sensitive situations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing School
- Current LPN license in the state of Tennessee
- Current CPR Certification
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and potential overtime
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
