Location: Our Transitional Living Program is located in a safe and supportive environment, providing a stable foundation for young people to thrive.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transitional Living Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our program, you will provide trauma-informed care, supervision, and guidance to up to 6 residential youth.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate life skill trainings to empower youth with essential skills for independence
  • Maintain client logbooks to track progress and provide accurate documentation
  • Respond to crisis calls and provide referrals to ensure the well-being of our residents
  • Conduct youth interviews to understand their needs and develop personalized plans
  • Administer medications and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Conduct bed checks and uphold household rules and structure to promote a sense of community
  • Assist the Program Manager as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the program

Availability: This is a part-time position, requiring 24 hours of work per week. You will work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts from 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, and 12am-8am.

Compensation: You will receive a competitive hourly rate of $15.00, with opportunities for raises and bonuses evaluated yearly. Additionally, you will be eligible for a 403b Retirement Plan with 10% matching, earned PTO, and an Employment Assistance Program, including therapy.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of experience working with youth or adolescents
  • Ability to pass Criminal and Central Registry Clearance background checks
  • Proof of a negative TB test
  • Valid driver's license or state ID

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a human services field, such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings
