Job Overview:
Efficus, Inc. is seeking a proficient and reliable Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. The specialist will be tasked with the operation of MRI machinery and conducting scans in accordance with physician directives, as well as screening patients and elucidating procedures to them, while also performing equipment inspections and troubleshooting as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing patient medical histories and conducting screenings for pacemakers and prior injuries involving metal objects.
  • Preparing and administering contrast agents.
  • Addressing patient inquiries and ensuring their comfort and tranquility during imaging procedures.
  • Conducting routine checks on MRI machinery and coordinating maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Positioning patients accurately and executing MRI scans per physician specifications.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety in MRI facilities at all times.
  • Documenting findings and reporting any issues to the appropriate parties.
  • Implementing quality assurance protocols and enacting improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI technology.
  • An associate's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A bachelor's degree may be considered an asset.
Certifications Required:
  • Current BLS certification.
  • ARRT certification.
