About the Role:

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a PRN variable schedule. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis of disease by utilizing the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (ARRT) or certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Radiology Technologist required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) or Certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
  • Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) preferred.
  • Six (6) months MRI technologist experience preferred.
  • BLS certified.
