We are in search of a qualified and passionate Attorney to enhance our practice. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in property law and a genuine commitment to serving rural communities. Responsibilities will include offering legal counsel, representing clients in various legal proceedings, and managing a diverse range of legal issues related to rural land ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized legal advice and representation to rural landowners on matters such as property disputes, land use, agricultural law, and estate planning.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate contracts and agreements pertinent to land transactions and other property-related issues.
  • Advocate for clients in court, mediation, and arbitration settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and remain informed about relevant laws and regulations impacting rural land ownership.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs and concerns.
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and staff to provide holistic legal services.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in property law, particularly in rural land issues, is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Texas property laws, land use regulations, and agricultural law.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine passion for serving rural communities and understanding the unique challenges faced by landowners.
