Key Responsibilities- Ensure Patient Safety: Monitor patient activity, respond to crisis situations, and provide interventions as necessary to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Provide Milieu Interventions: Engage with patients in group settings, facilitate daily activities, and promote a positive and respectful attitude among patients and staff.
- Support Patient Care: Assist nursing staff with duties such as patient supervision, vital signs, and room searches, as directed by facility leadership.
- Document Patient Information: Accurately record patient data, including daily rounds, patient issues, and safety concerns, to ensure effective communication among treatment team members.
- Facilitate Daily Needs: Assist patients with daily tasks, such as medication administration, meal preparation, and transportation, as needed.
- Participate in Training and Development: Attend staff meetings, in-service trainings, and online training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in patient care and treatment modalities.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required for this position.
- Valid Driver's License: Required for patient transportation and other duties as assigned.
- First Aid/CPR Certification: Required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
- De-escalation/Restraint Technique Certification: Required within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter.
- Medication Training: Required within 30 days of hire if applicable.
- Competitive Compensation: $16-19 per hour, dependent on geographic region, education, and experience.
