  • Administer medications, perform venipuncture, and collect lab specimens
  • Recognize emergency situations and seek assistance as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant program or certification by a recognized medical association
  • Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
  • 6 months of medical assistant experience or completion of a medical assistant externship
